Before, during & after thoughts of my birthday bbq

My 21st birthday presents... An Adidas watch(heard its very expensive), a Renoma wallet( i dun even know this brand, heard its branded) and a book(hmmm... when was the last time i read a book..? harry potter? lolz... i'm currently reading onli hardware mag monthly)... lastly.. a birthday card with everyone's blessings...

haven been really free to blog abt my birthday bbq... mainly coming home late from work.. tired... and play computer.. ahha...

well... it started out in the day... nothing happened... haha... afternoon my mum came back... and it started to rain... my mum prepared the fried rice after taking a nap and by then it was still raining at ard late 3pm... took a cab down to kj's place with hands full... cleaned up the multi purpose room and prepare the place...

then... as usual... i forget things... bbq didn't bring lighter..! drinks didn't bring syrup...! bbq forget to bring crab meat stick...! not enough charcoal... no butter... (it was still drizzling...) thanks the guys for helping mi get those stuffs to run the bbq smoothly... started the fire at 6++pm... it was too windy... had difficulty getting the charcoal to burn... but alas... at 7+pm... all things was raring to go... fan the charcoal to heat things up... then BBQ officially started... by then almost everyone arrived...

while a few of us was starting out the bbq... the rest started by eating the fried rice... good comments from my frens on my mum's cooking... haha... as more food was cooked... and pics was taken every min... the last person arrived for the cake cutting... MAX... haha... before and after tat... pak and I was thrown into the pool respectively... more pics and bbq food and 'zhong ji mi ma'... then there was the cake fight... mostly between cindy and yw... then present presentations... and cleaning up..

after tat everyone was dying to go home... haha... coz it was past 11pm le... everyone wans to go home coz it was late... and everyone is stenched of bbq smell and cake... need to head home for clean up...

my feelings: As normal... when ppl ask how i feel... i usually can't find any words to describe my feelings... i'm much better off typing them out... it was really fun that day... i think i was much 'high'-er than usual tat day... maybe it was my party... really thanks everyone who tried to make it for the bbq... it couldn't have been any more fun without anyone of u ppl... organising the event and getting the food is the least i could have done for being my frens for the past 4 yrs odd... anyway.. millions of thanks to everyone...

24/01/07... my birthday... MC... went out to get breakfast... saw Patricia mok and byran wong at IMM... then baked cookies after tat... was far worse than the previous 2 times... coz i mixed the dough too slow for the melted butter and flour mixture... ending up the dough too dry... also.. the choco chip seems to be melted too... cannot taste the chips in the cookies... made all like dome shaped... lol... then afternoon went to eat lunch...*some text missing*...lolz...

You shld be able to see that the location of the BBQ(represented by the red star) is in between the 2 MRT stations ba... so juz walk along the mrt track then u shld be able to find the place... there's a bus-stop rite outside the condo, which is the last bus-stop before reaching Boonlay interchange if u take 180 or 187 service number...

best u can meet up with those who knows the place and go together lor... unless u wanna go early to help out... which i dun think got anything much to set up ba.. maybe starting the fire is the hard part ba...

pondering over getting sushi... so... if some of u guys/gals dunno wat to get for mi... can get sushi platter.. haha... juz a suggestion... the above i expect to feed ard 25 ppl ba... at least 20... i need the water dispenser... so if anyone has it can lend it to mi for the syrup...

the main thing tat day is really bbq and bonding ba(as if we are not getting it, so many birthday parties... lolz...) and taking pic with mi..! haha... everyone must take individual pic with mi hor...! lolz... well... after the bbq... dunno do wat la... see how lor... maybe u guys wanna go out to some cafe have a drink or something...

today... went to SGH for my normal nose check up... onli slight improvement ba... so the doc suggested having and operation to correct the soft bone inside(is it soft bone, not sure wat's it la)... so its something about removing the bend thingy inside the nose lor... so it will clear the blockage and improve it...

2 days hospitalisation... 2 weeks MC... possibility of death but really really low for my age... infection is more of a possibility from the wound... so need to be careful lor... tat's why 2 weeks later 1st Feb going to see the doc with my mum.. actually my mum's only concern is whether my nose will become crooked or not... lol...

well.. was a bit stunned when the doc suggested operation... coz was thinking abt all the risks tat it involved... cost will be covered by army ba... they better lor... i dun wanna pay sia... haha...

anyway... birthday's in a week time... now qm's not free to go sing k tat day le... haiz... guess i'll be singing alone again ba...

In Case Of un-forseen circumstances... like KJ can't get his condo's bbq pit... i will try to get west coast BBQ pit ba... pray there's no need for tat...

another thing is tat i won't be asking all my frens along... mostly JC frens... so please forgive mi ba... if u wan can ask mi out and treat mi with a meal along with the rest of the sec sch frens... for gathering too...

On the better side of things... i have finally gave my digi cam the full battle equipment... mainly the lcd screen protector and the silicon casing... yea...! well... tat adds another $26 to the overall cost of the digi cam... but inevitable la... since i'm left with no world wide warranty... i need all those extra protection i can get... now my silver lumix fx3 becomes black... haha... ok.. tat's it le ba...

THe First Purely words Post oF the NEw YEar

Been think alot lately... maybe too much le ba... about lots of stuff... with my birthday coming up... mind u.. its 21st... now the real questions comes in...

why 21st..? why is it so important...? are other birthdays of a lesser meaning..?

undoubtly... coming of the age of 21 means alot... there are alot of decisions awaiting mi...

firstly, in Oct 2006, i received a letter from MOH regarding the HOTA(human organ transplant act). Its a big decision my fren.... tat's why i'm still waiting the right time to decide... most probably after my birthday ba... i'm enjoying the last few days of being twenty... haha...

secondly, something on a smaller note... my bank will start to charge mi $2 a mth, u shld understand why... haha...

thirdly, my birthday celebration is still undecided... dun think much can be achieved on 24th itself... next week going to ask my boss for birthday off... mostly like my schedule will be to sing k lunch at JEC, or if someone wanna go town i also dun mind... so far no one can confirm joining mi for tat... can't really do much but wait for answers and replies...

after tat 2-3 hrs of singing my hearts out... dunno wat's next then... probably will be too full for meals in a while... wanting to eat sushi... should be for dinner ba... still no ones able to confirm anything with mi yet... even though i noe there are frens willing to come and meet mi up... i will appreciate it...

last year was quite simple... no plans was made and everything seems last min too... went to sing k alone in the morning... walked ard abit... said hi to her(think she was still working there ba)... actually juz waved onli... think we nvr talked in person ba.. sob sob... then after tat... met up with wm, mw, kj and layping ba... went to eat seoul garden... wm treated... was nice when u have frens to celebrate with u... but this yr... who will be the ones...?

there's nothing much to say le ba... mostly kept in my thoughts... been really busy at work... everyday will be walking non stop and carry loads and loads of heavy stuff here and there... sometime even have difficulty in grasping my breathe... yea... the load seems so heavy tat i was struggling to even breathe properly... each one i take in seems to be withstanding the load, pushing mi on... and baring the pain... its not easy la...

so which path should i take..? persist.. or go for the new area??? i'm not a person tat give up easily...
