On this fateful friday... i was part of a few perm. staffs being asked to join this yr's batch of students from my unit for the battlebox tour... it was going to be a very emotional but meaningful trip ... the pics showed all the brouchers i stolen... i mean.. took from the 4 places i'm abt to visit later on... It was rather unfortunate that i DID NOT BRING MY CAMERA, hence i can onli try to relive it from my poor memory... i got lots of brouchers and a post card, if any of u all wan can ask from mi... haha... well... i'm onli going to briefly touch on the places i went today... details i can't remember much... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 1st location were to the bukit chandu where the last line of defence by the malayan regiment fought with the japanese... "JA'ta Setir" was they code, Loyal and True... they repelled the 1st attacked but the japanese came back with vengence and the malayan regiment fought hand-to-hand combat coz they ran out of ammo... after bukit chandu was taken over, some of the japanese troops matched to alexandra hospital and massacred abt 250 patients and staffs in the hospital...
