Day i got my 1st kitty...
Lolz... this afternoon went to IMM to The Golden Arch buy for lunch... quite a while since i eat fast food, due to lost of power to withdraw money, but maybe its gd for my health... asked for the blue kitty... and i got it... next will be the YING YANG kitties and a light green kitty... collecting onli colours i feel nice... after tat may help anyone to collect...
be4 i bought lunch... walk ard IMM... went to BEST DENKI to look at keyboard and mouse... wanted to change my current ones... due to my 'violent' nature, these peripherals sort of take revenge on mi... can't play game properly... but the mouse sort of has a self-recovery, its normal now... juz the direction key which cannot be use together... lolz... the new Pixma cannon printer $99 onli... quite cheap...

Boring day... Happenings at sch next yr... Grad nite..?
hey... do u noe tat today's Max temp is onli 29, min 24... guess this monsoon season is coming at us fast and furious... wat a 'cool' day if onli i could/had stayed at and sleep the day away... too bad... still have to go sch since its the last day... Damn stupid time table lor... today onli attend civic, GP and Maths...
(7.40am) rotting at the canteen... no PE... hence sit at canteen until civic at 10.40... listen to yes 933... playing hp games... chat with a few person... but most of the time sitting there on my own...
(10.40am) went to hall for the dialogue with P... a couple of ppl asked qn and the P answered... there's one about wat's going to happen when the 5days work wk implemented... he said tat there maybe a lot of change... a surprise... thought he haven really sit down with the committee to discuss... but changes will happen... maybe 1hr period block? there will be ard 30 scholars coming... 23 new teachers... and to accommodate the new teachers... the consultation area, the area with tables juz outside staff rm, will be turned into part of the staff rm as well... they will air-con the area to enlarge the staff rm... next yr assembly will change to grandstand... that area maybe fully sheltered as well... the car-park area will be turned into another studying area with tables and chairs...
the container block... it will be removed to change into a new building... the 1st floor of the building will be an extension to the canteen... 2nd Flr will be some office areas... for enlarged book shop and offices for entrepreneurs to set up... the 3rd to 5th flr will be rooms with transparent/glass walls and windows... for small scale function and stuffs... the roof-top he say will be made into a flying fox area connected to the rock wall...(where got so high for flying fox???)
there's something abt u can wear shorts to sch for guys and dunno wat for gals during sch time, sort of like dress down, no need full uniform but muz be college approved attires... but... Every Monday muz still wear full uni to sch with TIE...!!! he also say tat at the end of 2005 every graduating class have to fork out money to buy marble table or chair to be placed at the car-park studying area...! this is crap lor... each cost frm $500-$1000 sia... so ex...
they also made available tickets to JC1 for the grad nite at $30... also so ex... Can help mi get the $20 ticket..? dunno whether to go Grad Nite or not...? Your view...?

'God-ti-ca'(dunno the spelling)... then decided to go the the POSBank and withdraw some money to meet ends... and pay back borrowed money from mother... then ask the teller to re-send mi the ATM card as the replacement maybe lost out there in the open by SingPost...

Yes... gotten back most of the results to justify my outcome... i'm... haiz... i'm...
Promo results: Phy - 63/140, overall: 44.59
Econs: P1 21/30, P2&3 ???, overall: ???
(8.ooam) briefly wat ms T said,' tai lai huh, late for 11 times... i dun can wat problem u have ah... go see a specialists... (the closest onli 8 late comings...) dun mind telling u ppl, there are 5 conditional promotion and 2 retained... these 5 r Mr "exempted from econs", li wei, fareez, viknesh and daniel...' the 2 cannot be mention cause i may affect the others pw if they decide to walk out... but one of them is clear to us...
(10.40am)Mr lee came and gave out the maths paper... to my horror... i actually passed... i thought i would have gotten 40+, but hei, nvr under-estimate urself...
Maths: 53/100, overall: 60.2
(12.10pm) Mr Fei's lesson... he came in and talk big stuff to us... about wat options there is whether u get retain or not... then gave out the papers... haiz... my essay sucks sia... 15 grammer and 13 expression mistakes... 悲 哀 paper 2 was ok.. juz pass... but papers my langauge CMI...

Quick update...
My ATM card still haven arrive... check mailbox at 12.40pm... the tag board is up and running again for my com... rather short day today... 3 period of lecture onli finish 1 long qn from promo and discuss about electric field... then mr tan talk about his life... his struggle of not getting himself promoted... differences working in private and govt sector... comments abt scholars, the new teachers... bascially wastes periods away... then after 2 lectures went home cause the teachers having meeting on moderation... haiz...
One pleasing new is tat my Phy result mostly likely confirm to be a AO pass... ard 44/100... pending moderation for details of promotion... un-expectedly got 63/140 for phy promo... a small relief... but GP is still a mystery... (shh... dun leak out this)

A bad news to start the week...
What i heard last week about onli 2 fail GP was wrong... mr Fei clarify tat veri few pass GP and the internal moderation onli give a few more passes to someone... alot still do not make it... haiz... guess should not put my hopes so high for my GP to pass now...
Tml will be moderation day, most likely my name will be up on the board ready to be shoot down by ms tie, guess she will be open on all cylinders. My late comings have been on her nerves quite a few times, she will have 'reasons' to give mi the thumbs down for conditional promotion... the other teachers shld not post any problems to my promotion as i'm always on my usual behaviour... hand in assignments and stuffs... nvr created problems to them... hope they will be kind enuff to mi... So, tml will be sort of a D-day for mi... whether its to JC2 or Army... guess i'll be joining u guys... sob sob...
Wednesday will the the day where they give back the papers... GP will be given back on thurs... still veri worried... my fate lies most probably in ms tie's hand... tat's a scary thought... tml and thurs there will be DOS, directors of sch, meeting in sch, hence no assembly. tml will release early due to moderation, how early i do not noe... more sian is tat have to wait until the other JC1s to finish their PW then can take promotion results...
Opened the letter-box and still didn't see my ATM card delivery from POSB... they said need 4 working days but i still see no sign of tat letter in the box... i had already receive the pin code letter on sat, but why my card still haven come...? if it still doesn't come tml, i'm gonna call them... waste my time...
Juz saw the news tat a female ice-skater's head was smash on the ice floor after her male partner sort of loses balance... sad... she's in coma now i think... hope her well...

The day i wear contact lens...
Getting frustrated... this is the 3rd time i'm publishing this... dunno wat's wrong with blogger.com
I'm wearing my contact now... feeling strange and weird not wearing my specs but a contact lens... looking quite weird without my specs on... dunno if i made the right choice opting for a contact lens... but i'm onli wearing it when going out... u won't see mi too often though... it cost $60, $2 per pair, seems quite reasonable...
went to sch to start badminton training today... didn't went quite well as i had difficulty coping... cannot complete footwork, back area of head feeling in pain when doing lobbing and looking up for the shuttle too long... am i getting old or is it juz my fitness...? no stamina... haiz... somemore finger got blood blister... stop playing after it burst... after that when to collect contact...
seems like everyone's getting sick over the A-lvl... try not to stress too much... or u may get seriously sick... heard/seen tat the chalet it on 2nd of dec... i'm on for it... juz bring it... if any of u wanna go exercise... call mi along... i wanna get my fitness back... now waiting for the Return of My ATM card...

Today, i was quite moody... dun feel like talking, but who can i talk to...? boring and short lessons... my timetable ends at 11.25am... again the class was scolded, directed at those few who took their own sweet time to crawl to class. mr lee again scolded to them about PW, if skip pw later he will fail them... mr fei(GP tutor) again handed out push-ups to them as they once again disturb the class, came back later after break. that sums up the day lor... in a loud noisy environment... wanna run away from this but this is life... so down in the dumps...

A really bad day...
Came home, went out to top-up my ez-link card, went to IMM wanted to buy something and deposit 50 bucks in my account be4 withdrawing loose change... in the end... my ATM CARD got 'STUCKED' at the withdrawing machine... the machine juz gave up on mi and hang at the password page... then i called the service hotline and their block all transaction and ask mi to visit the POSB branches to remake my ATM...
wait a long time for bus105 to take mi to JEC branch of POSBank but it was closed at 4.30, the time then was almost 6pm. Tuesday...
Updates on Promo: the coming tuesday(26/10) will be the Moderation Day... my lifes depending on it... GP tutor said tat after the initial moderation, onli 1-2 person fail general paper, maybe more will pass after next tue... they are not releasing the promo papers as the sach do not want the JC1s to suddenly quit on their project work like wat happened last yr... at least i and kevin put in more than 100% of effort into our PW... hehe...
More has been revealed from phy as answers for paper 2 are out without giving back our papers... more or less assured tat i may not get the O pass i was hoping for... sob...

BORING...
Other than going out to have a hair cut, today's considered a boring day... reach the barber at ard 4.30 but waited till 5.40 then was my turn(2+ ppl infront of mi in queue). BOring day... watch TV, surf net, play computer... but computer onli got CM and worms world party demo, play until sian liao... net also surf here surf there always the same old website...(eg. lfc, skysports, anandtech, soccernet, straitstimes interactive, mugglenet, myblog...) so sian...
MSN messenger online also no one wanna find mi chat... everytime i find ppl chat... am i realli tat unpopular/hated..? or maybe they online are juz a cover for them studying...? the former and latter are quite convincing... lolz... hold after ur exams, A-lvl, got more ppl wanna chat with mi... Good luck to u all and study hard... best wishes to all...

ALONSO INSPIRES REDS TO SUPERB FIGHTBACK
Liverpool produced an excellent second half fightback to earn all three points against all the odds at Craven Cottage this afternoon.
Reds boss Rafa Benitez will be delighted to get his first away win, but it was all so different at half time after poor defending had given his side an uphill task. Fulham benefited from some shocking Reds defending, with two goals from Luis Boa Morte giving them a 2-0 half time lead. But A Zak Knight own goal and strikes from Milan Baros and Xabi Alonso turned the tables just when it looked like Liverpool would suffer more away day woes. It was Xabi Alonso who can most be credited for the Reds revival, as they were a different team after his half time introduction for Diao. The Spanish maestro produced a superb display and it was fitting that it was he who got the winner after he'd dragged the Reds back into the game. Liverpool's travelling army will have been happy just to have seen their side close the defecit, but Alonso had other ideas and sent them wild with an excellent free kick on 81 minutes. Igor Biscan came off the bench to seal the points deep into injury time and Rafa Benitez will now be hoping his side can build on their first away win of the season.
Now this is the Liverpool that i suppport. Went to WM's hse to watch this game(thankz for letting mi go ur house). Was veri disappointed to see some poor defending and lost of posession in the 1st half by the usual culprit, Diao, quite some rough and harsh challenages by Traore and Finann(got sent off by 2 bookable offenses, shame). But witness a real comeback inspired by 'Chubby' Alonso... sry... i mean Xabi Alonso... nice to see biscan get on the score sheet also...

Contact lens for me?
This afternoon i went to IMM with WJ. WJ went there to make a new spectacles, while i went for a check up for my eyes to purchase contact lens... Quite strange, do u think tat i shld switch to wearing contact or do u think tat i look fine in my spects...? i like to hear ur view...
Though it onli a daily contact lens, i dun think there's a need to wear contact every single day, hence its the dailies for mi. To my horror, due to mi spending too much time infront of my computer, my Astigmatism has gone up. Left eye from astigmatism-free to 100, right eye increases by 50. Others like degrees remain same... haiz... guess my computer days are gonna be less now...
Also, i found out that the ShihLin Snacks are available at IMM too. Went to try the XXL Crispy Chicken($3.00) and Crispy Floss Egg Crepe($3.00). Taste great for the Egg Crepe, the crispy chicken is nice but quite normal... Do have a try at the snacks if u can, its also available at BP plaza. visit http://www.shihlinsnacks.com.tw for more info.

Exercise Helps Fight Flu
MSN Health- Oct. 7, 2004 -- Worried about not being able to get a flu vaccine this year? Exercise may be the flu remedy you've been looking for.
Moderate exercise helped mice survive the flu in a recent lab test done by researchers at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They presented their findings at the 2004 American Physiological Society Intersociety Meeting in Austin, Texas.
After exposing mice to the flu virus, Jeffrey Woods, PhD, and colleagues randomly assigned some rodents to a four-day workout program with 20-30 minute daily exercise sessions. The mice stopped exercising when flu symptoms appeared, simulating typical human behavior. For comparison, another group of flu-exposed mice didn't exercise at all.
The exercising mice were twice as likely to survive the flu as the sedentary group: 59% of exercising mice survived the flu, compared with 29% of those that did not exercise.
Mature exercisers (age 20 weeks) fared best. Eighteen out of 22 mature exercising mice survived the flu, compared with only 10 out of 22 sedentary mice of the same age. The protective benefit of exercise wasn't seen in younger mice aged 11-16 weeks.
It's worth noting that the mice weren't hard-core rodent "athletes." They only exercised moderately for a handful of days; none exercised regularly before the experiment.
"Our work has shown that moderate exercise for four consecutive days post-infection significantly increased survivability to influenza infection," write the researchers.
They plan to do follow-up studies with animals that had been exercising regularly, according to a news release.
The researchers also want to learn how exercise exerts its protective effect against the flu.
Meanwhile, a large clinical trial with human participants is underway at the University of Illinois' physical fitness laboratory, examining whether moderate exercise training can boost immunity (including responses to flu vaccine) in older adults, according to a news release.

Thoughts: The day after Promo & Friends
quite a boring day, with every seconds and minutes passing meaninglessly... The promo had past but my brain is still thinking about it, whether i can pass or not, whether will i get promoted to yr2, whether i am the right material to be in this education system, whether is it time to finally move on...? i do get scared at times, but wat's done is done. i'm much more able to accept the truth, more than last yr, even though i'm in a better position than the last.
But at the end of the day, at least i get to bring home something dear with mi even 'if' i dun get promoted. That's friendship. If anyone knows mi well, he/she shld know that i treasure my frens and our friendships. Even though my relations with fren got sour at times, i'm more then welcoming back, but its much difficult than holding my arms open. i may not understand their thinking much, but i usually get the feeling that they dun treat our friendship seriously. They dun care how i feel, but what can i do, we dun get to see each other much. Not that i'm very 'big shot' or wat, not tat i wanna ignore them or wat. Its tat if they dun care about my feeling, why shld i even have these ppl as my frens? Luckily, these few ppl are the minority, i still have other frens tat show care and concern, though not as many as i would like. But i truely thank them...
As much as i would like to get promoted and take a shot at the A-lvl, i'm still questioning whether i'm of the calibre to be a JC student. Maybe i shld have gone poly at the start, or even jump at the chance to get away this yr. Maybe i was too weak minded to think tat everything will turn out for the better. Got quite a nice class during the 1st 3mths, though not as nice as my former, they were nice ppl to be with. I thought tat maybe it will be fine for mi to take a second shot at promo. But to my horror, got into a class that's... haiz... little devils and angels... sort of black listed to class. ¼of the class either transfer out or decided to quit jc altogether, left onli 2 gals in class, can u judge the seriousness(class started with 3 gals onli...). One way or another hinder my re-learning process, may have after my promo in some ways, but i'm still the one tat take the promo and no one can be blame... the teachers... haiz... no comments...
Coming back to today, went to Queensway shopping center with my frens... had a good looks at clothes, jackets, shoes and more shoes... Had quite a laugh chatting about how WJ wanna use tape and steal money from the 2nd floor, how we're sort of being followed by a few jjc juniors, how wj became a forgettable man... hoping tat they can find time to relax during the exam period and not stress themselves out...
I'm wishing everyone taking the A-lvl and poly exams the best, same to mi waiting for the promo result...

comments: eassy didn't have much points to write, think i wrote abt how society looks are sportsman(winners and losers), sportsman's pride and honour, and how the media potray the sportsman... paper 2 was rather tough, the passages were rather hard to digest and understand. hopefully i can scape a pass... if not i will be joining u guys in NS next yr...

paper3- Qn1: The annual month-long shopping extravaganza, the Great Singapore Sale, is an opportunity for retailers to get consumers to spend.
(a) Explain price elasticity od demand, income Ed and cross Ed.(12)
(b) Discuss how an understanding of these concepts might be of use to retailers in preparation for the GSS.(13)
Qn2: Large foreign firms dominate the large-project segment of the construction mkt in Sg by winning 2-thirds of projects worth over $100million in 1999. Local firms are thus encourage to merge.
(a) Explain the possible benefits of mergers among the local construction firms.(12)
(b) Given the benefits you described, do you agree that there is no room for small firms in the Sg construction industry? (13)

I did summary for all topics except Work, Energy, Power till Ideal gases, actually worked well for my mcq but total messed up paper2, didn't revise on TENSION... haiz...

Official launch...
yes... it's official...lolz... spend quite some time setting up... now everyone and anyone can learn more about mi. Quite strange actually... didn't know why i ended up setting this, maybe influenced by the others after browsing thru their blogs... Got this strange urge to creat my own... Finally now i have a place to speak my grievances... praises... etc. Its also a place where you can tell mi how i can be a better person... chat around... let's get started then...
