Trends i've observed about ppl in Singapore...

Young or old... i've seen them on the road acting wat's usually not seen in the past...

1) starting the with kids nowadays... haven u noticed tat they are getting wilder and more annoying at such a young age..? what has happen to our younger generations..? Are parents giving in to them too easily and too much..? do they have too much freedom and money to spare..? Wat has our education taught them...? Are kids pure at heart no more..?

I've seen a couple of pri sch students scolding vulgarities at their frens... or are they frens..? lolz... i was juz standing in the bus and one of them alighted and pointed the 'run-up' sign at their frens still in the bus... they dun even look half my age and learnt all the negatives that's available to them... maybe they are juz a small group of black sheeps but these kind of frens have negative influences... Wait till my child does tat to mi one day... i'll be stunned... big time...

Maybe we shld get back to the old days where children get the minimum they get and trained to be self independent... to be tough and yet pure in mind... Communication maybe the key...

2) The elderly... well... we have seen and heard tat we muz respect the elderly... give them way, give up ur sits... blah blah blah... i dun mind actually... but the problem is... i found tat they themselves lack manners... whenever i'm boarding bus or entering the train... i'll always feel tat someone is pushing his/her way through even though he/she is behind the queue... and they are the elderly...!

wat's the rush...? the place is already crowded and pushing doesn't solve anything... showing kindness to them yet being un-appreciated... i really dun understand... then again... maybe its juz mi or it juz happens to mi... black sheeps are always the minority... so forget it... they may be too stubborn to change anything... let alone learn to respect other transport users as well... i dun blame them as i know they wanna get seats but ppl nowdays hog on to sits tat others deserve more... hmm... ok... i sometimes also do tat but i also can't stand for too long becoz of my ankle pain...

3) Gambling and smokings are great harm to modern society... sounds like a GP essay already...
really dun understand u ppl gamble alot... maybe for the false hope of getting rich overnight... well it does happen... but i dun believe in it... Shi du jiu shu(gamble ten times, losing nine)... lolz.. i'm juz saying for dun... no offence to anyone though... its a fact...

Smoking... i hate it... well... i hate it a lot... so is my eldest brother... tat's y when my second elder brother went to toilet to smoke... my eldest bro will juz slam the kitchen door quickly( & loudly for protest) and his room door to prevent the cigarette smell getting into his room... but my 2nd bro continue his smoking... he dun listen...

my grandfather used to smoke when he was alive, but he does tat outside home or usually by the window... where its well ventilated... my father used to smoke too... but he quitted it... or at least no with the family around...

Despite all the advertisement and campaigns on the harmful effects of smoking... the smokers age seems to get younger... smokers everywhere... who can stop them...?
